Elementary School Music Teacher
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Teach classes, Grades One through Eight;
• Accompany church services on the organ;
• Play organ at daily Chapel;
• Accompany any Broadway show;
• Direct grade-level shows.
Qualifications and Preferences:
• Five-years’ experience teaching music classes
• High level piano and/or organ skills
• Ability to play on sight four-part harmony
• Knowledge of children’s songs as well as music from The Great American Songbook
• Willingness to sing
• Experience producing and directing grade-level shows
• Experience in program administration
• Experience in collaboration with other schools or artistic organizations is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to boys’ education and character education
• Maturity, collegiality, flexibility, humor
Salary range dependent on experience: $70,000 - $121,900
