Spring Admissions Event | Teaching and Learning in the Age of AI
6:00pm,
Saint David's School
How should education evolve in response to the advent of Generative Artificial Intelligence?
As young minds develop, how can AI be appropriately used to deepen learning foundations?
How can we preserve values such as integrity, honesty, hard work and relational learning while introducing AI as a tool?
Please join us for an evening with Dan Be Kim, AI Fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, as she examines the opportunities and pitfalls of Artificial Intelligence as a tool in elementary education, along with which skills she believes will be most valuable for generations to come. Cocktail reception to follow.
Dan Be Kim is an AI Fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She contributes to research on Inspiring Moral AI Guidance in Education (IMAGINE) at the Harvard Center for Digital Thriving. Through Harvard's educational consultancy known as PromptEd, Dan Be helps educators and learners develop the intuition, fluency, confidence, and critical judgment needed to collaborate with AI in thoughtful, creative, and human-centered ways. Her work explores how AI can enhance and augment — not replace — human intelligence. Dan Be is leading informational sessions and workshops for our administration, faculty, staff, and parent community.
