Young Scientists in Action

First grade science begins with an emphasis on proper use of scientific tools and materials, starting with the microscope. In a recent lab, the boys learned how to view common objects (such as feathers, earthworms, and sand) using this scientific instrument. Throughout the year, our young scientists will practice the scientific method and learn a variety of skills necessary to answer questions they discuss during their scientific investigations.
