Up on the Roof Garden

Saint David's now has a roof garden, thanks to the Class of 2023's Legacy Gift. In early June, eighth graders assembled and painted planters, potted soil, and planted herbs and wildflowers on the Seventh Floor Terrace adjoining the fitness space at school. The flowers and greens grown in the garden will be used to support science experiments around pollination, ecosystems, and sustainability, as well as exploration of plant life cycles. The garden beds may also grow herbs and produce for lunches.
