"Can't Look Away" Screening for Saint David's Community
An expose of the hidden dangers of social media and its devastating effects on young users, "Can't Look Away: The Case Against Social Media” follows the work of the Social Media Victims Law Center. The film intends to be a tool for education and awareness to help parents, educators, and community leaders push for safer digital environments. Last Thursday evening's special screening of the documentary in our school's Otto-Bernstein Theatre provided Saint David's parents, faculty and staff with eye-opening, thought-provoking insights into this important topic. The evening also featured a post-screening discussion with one of the film's Directors, Matthew O’Neill and Bloomberg Associates Head of Cyber Security and Technology Practice, Jonathan Werbell.
Thank you to our Parents Association President Elizabeth DePaolo, current parent Reto Gregori, and Bloomberg for bringing this important event to the Saint David’s community.
