Admissions Process

While most students enroll at Saint David's in the pre-primary years, qualified applicants are considered at all grade levels when places are available. The admissions process begins in the fall of the year prior to enrollment.

Applications for the 2024-2025 school year should be submitted by December 1, along with the $75 application fee. The application process is initiated with a registration form that will provide access to Saint David’s admissions portal upon submission. Once you have logged into the portal, you may complete the application and schedule the following admissions visits:

Parent Visit:

Prospective parents are invited to schedule a private in-person tour of the school hosted by a Saint David’s parent during school hours. The in-person tour will be followed by a conversation with the Admissions Office. If circumstances do not allow for an in-person visit, please contact the admissions office at admissions@saintdavids.org to inquire about a virtual option.

Applicant Visit:

Candidates for Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten are invited to participate in play group sessions, which are conducted on weekday mornings. Saint David’s also offers a Saturday outdoor play group option. If circumstances do not allow for an in-person visit, please contact the admissions office at admissions@saintdavids.org to inquire about a virtual visit.

Families of candidates for Grades One through Seven should schedule a parent visit through the admissions portal. Candidate visits will take place later in the admissions season.

Headmaster’s Remarks:

Parents are invited to attend a group event in December hosted by the Headmaster. The one-hour formal presentation will be followed by a question and answer period.

ERB Testing

Applicants to Grades Two through Seven must be tested by the Educational Records Bureau. Please request that results be sent to Saint David's School.

Applicants to Grades Two through Four take the ISEE Primary; applicants to Grades Five and Six take the Lower Level Exam; and applicants to Grade Seven take the Upper Level exam. Saint David's School does not accept ERB results for applicants to Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, or Grade One.

Transcript Request/ISAAGNY School Report Forms

An official transcript from your son's school is required to complete his application file. Please sign the Transcript Request form and forward it to his current school. All information should be sent directly from the current school to: admissions@saintdavids.org by January 8.

Why Saint David's?
