Sixth graders have begun this interdisciplinary unit through our unique partnership with the American Museum of Natural History. The unit blends English, science and technology curriculum, and the boys are taught by their Saint David's teachers as well the museum's educators and astronomers. In the first session, the boys learned about the UniView software that they will be able to use for their space research show projects, and created models of the solar system. This week, they learned that almost everything we know about the universe has come from analyzing the light and other electromagnetic radiation that reaches Earth from space.
