In conjunction with their Career Study in social studies, Omega boys visited the Queens County Farm Museum. Throughout the study, the boys are exposed to different jobs and discover how they help our community. This week, the boys learned about the career of a farmer by listening to stories and sharing ideas. They learned that farmers help our community by growing fresh food for us to eat. At the Farm Museum they saw first hand how a farm works. The boys were taught about the different crops farmers grow and they met all types of animals that live on the farm.
