Second graders began their art fall art unit, done through a partnership with the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. During the fall term, the boys spend their weekly eighty-minute art sessions at the Guggenheim Museum, where they study the iconic architecture of the building as well as modern masterpieces from the permanent collection and work on hands-on art activities under the guidance of a museum educator. The term culminates with an exhibit of student work at the museum.
