Events Coordinator

Saint David’s School seeks a full-time Events Coordinator to start August 26, 2019. Saint David’s is an independent K-8 school for boys, located in Manhattan. Founded in 1951 in the Catholic tradition, the school welcomes everyone.

Saint David’s seeks a dedicated, results-oriented professional with a passion for working in a mission-driven and team-oriented environment. The Events Coordinator will manage several annual events overseen by the Development and Alumni offices, to include invitation design to day-of execution, volunteer liaising, and support for the Parents Association annual benefit dinner dance and auction.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Administrative work associated with events
  • (prepare name tags, programs, send reminder emails, arrange for A/V, tech support, maintenance and catering staff, log information into the database)
  • Coordinate the school’s overall events calendar, working with pertinent departments
  • Staff evening events and attend early morning meetings as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Position reports to the Director of Development and collaborates with Development team

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of coordinating events and working with volunteers.

Demonstrated leadership:

Ability to manage and multi-task a diverse range of projects.

Excellent organization, interpersonal, creative, written, and oral communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge and auction bidding systems a plus. Please send cover letter and résumé to:
