Art Teacher

Saint David’s School seeks an art teacher. The position involves teaching all aspects of studio art in Pre-K through Grade 8, with emphasis on ceramics (hand building) and observational drawing.

Successful candidates will have strong experience as an art teacher in elementary education, a Masters in a related field is preferred; knowledge of art history; excellent classroom management skills; a desire and ability to collaborate and work with a team; experience in curriculum planning and development; excellent oral and written communication; a commitment to character development; good judgment, patience, and flexibility; and a commitment to the mission of Saint David’s School.
