    -City Harvest
    , Wed., May 16
On Wednesday, May 16th, the third grade will be leading the school in City Harvest’s Skip Lunch Fight Hunger campaign.  City Harvest, the nation's oldest food rescue organization, is dedicated to feeding hungry people in New York City. We are not asking our Saint David’s boys to give up lunch. What we are asking is that they give up one snack on Wednesday, May 16th. They can give the money they normally would have spent on this snack to our Skip Lunch Fight Hunger campaign.

On May 10th, each boy will be given a small City Harvest bag to take home.  If your son would like to participate, he should skip his usual snack and put his snack money in the bag.  He can drop his brown bag into the collection box in the school lobby or bring it to his homeroom teacher on Wednesday, May 16th or Thursday, May 17th.
