Wax Figures Come to Life in Second Grade
Posted: March 5, 2010
The clink of a token in a cup breaks the silence and "wax figures" of Patrick Henry, George Washington, and Benedict Arnold come to life. It's the Second Grade Wax Museum where second graders, posing as Revolutionary War figures, present short biographical sketches of a famous figure to First Grade visitors, teachers, and the Headmaster. The boys enjoy the role playing and gain early practice in researching and public speaking, while teaching younger students a bit of American history.Photo Gallery: Second Grade Wax Museum 2010
