Saint David's boys in Grades Four through Eight participated in walk-a-thons this week in support of the Kalina School in Tigray, Ethiopia. The Kalina School project, done in partnership with Save the Children, began in 2011 during Saint David's 60th anniversary celebration as a way for our community to contribute to the greater good. Each year since then, the Eighth Grade has led school-wide fundraising projects for Kalina. When the Kalina School opened in 2013, it welcomed boys and girls in Grades One through Four. This past year, it expanded to include an Eighth Grade, and our boys have continued the school's commitment to the Kalina community.
