Sneak Peak at Ensemble Rehearsal

Saint David's Philharmonic Ensemble gathers early each Tuesday and Thursday morning to rehearse the famous symphonic compositions they will perform at concerts throughout the year. At a  recent rehearsal the boys practiced Mozart's Symphony 25 from "Amadeus." This year's Ensemble features 30 players including second, third and fourth graders, as well as boys from the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grades.Conducted by Philip Hough, the Philharmonic Ensemble performs four times each year for the student body of Saint David's and has (recently) appeared at Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center and at Carnegie Hall.

The group returns to Carnegie Hall in February.
