Kindergarten boys learned about the "drawing with scissors" art that Henri Matisse created later in his life by cutting out paper shapes. The boys explored works of Henri Matisse, collage, overlapping techniques, contour drawing through tracing, and telling a story through their work. They then got to work on their own "mother with child" collages, making a perfect Mother's Day gift to take home.
