Once reimagined, redesigned and renovated, our 89th Street Campus will provide our boys and their teachers with the resources necessary to fulfill our potential for academic, aesthetic, athletic, and spiritual growth. This project has been a 45-year dream of Saint David’s and now, after many years of researching, strategizing, and planning, the school is ready to embark on this long awaited, much needed adaptive reuse and expansion.
Saint David’s takes great pride, and considers it a privilege, to be a member of the Upper East Side community. Throughout this project, we’ll continue to be the good neighbor we believe we’ve always been and will hold true to our reputation as a trusted community member and benefactor. We have established direct communications with our neighbors, in order to be as responsive as possible to any concerns they may have during construction. If you have any questions/concerns or would like more information, please contact John Dearie at 212-369-0058.
We are excited now to share our plans with our students, parents, faculty and extended Upper East Side community. Strong, vibrant schools make for a strong, vibrant community
The project is a dream realized. Since 1951, through a series of carefully planned acquisitions, Saint David’s has been moving east to meet the school’s growing needs.
Our physical plant is more than bricks and mortar housing our school, it is the primary resource that enables our teachers and boys to realize their full potential and fulfill the school’s mission.
Our program will be largely self-contained and will allow us to improve our physical facilities without the need to acquire new property, or to build on off-site parcels.
