Early Decision Notification Option
The Office of Admissions at Saint David’s School is committed to providing current and alumni families our highest level of attention. However, we strongly encourage parents of sibling and legacy applicants to fully investigate a wide variety of schools for their boys.
Saint David’s siblings and sons of alumni have the option of applying for Early Decision notification under the guidelines set forth by The Independent Schools Admissions Association of Greater New York (www.isaagny.org). Families applying for Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, or Grade 1 who wish to participate will receive an admissions decision approximately one month in advance of the Regular Decision notification date set forth by ISAAGNY. The range of possible admissions decisions for Early Decision participants shall include acceptance, denial or deferral to the Regular Decision pool. In the event that an applicant is accepted through the Early Decision notification process and elects to enroll at Saint David’s School, the family will be required to submit a signed contract and deposit by the reply date designated below.
If you would like to participate in the Early Decision notification program, please notify the Office of Admissions by December 1, 2011. If we do not hear from you by that date, we will assume that you do not wish to participate and you will be notified on the Regular Decision notification dates of February 10, 2012 for Kindergarten and Grade 1 and February 28, 2012 for Pre-Kindergarten. Saint David’s is unable to process Early Decision notification requests submitted after December 1. ERB testing for those who would like to consider the Early Decision notification option should be administered no later than October 31, 2011. If eligible, families may opt for Early Decision notification at multiple schools.
Sibling and alumni parents seeking financial aid will be notified of their grant at the time of acceptance.
