Admissions Process

Most students enroll at Saint David's in the pre-primary grades. Qualified applicants are considered at all grade levels when places are available. The admissions process begins in the fall of the year prior to enrollment with the submission of the online application.

Application, Testing, and Transcript Requirements:  Completed applications for enrollment in the 2019-2020 school year should be submitted to the Office of Admissions no later than December 1, 2018 along with the $75 application fee.  Due to scheduling constraints, we may need to discontinue accepting applications prior to December 1.  Please submit a signed Transcript Request form to your son's current school.  ERB testing should be arranged for applicants to Grades Two through Seven. Saint David's does not accept ERB test results for applicants to Grade One, Kindergarten, or Pre-Kindergarten. Upon receipt of the completed application, an Admissions Associate will contact you to arrange the following appointments:

Parent Tour & Interview:  Prospective parents are given a private tour of Saint David's led by a current parent followed by an interview with an admissions officer.  Please plan to be at Saint David's for approximately one hour and a half for the parent tour and interview. 

Applicant Visit:  Boys applying to Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten visit in small groups and engage in a variety of age appropriate activities. Sessions are facilitated by two teachers and typically conclude within fifty-five minutes. Boys applying to Grades One through Four are invited for a half-day visit and candidates for Grades Five through Seven spend a full day at Saint David's.

Headmaster's Remarks:  Parents are invited to attend a group event hosted by the Headmaster.  The one-hour formal presentation will be followed by a question and answer period.
