Upper School Library Mission
The mission of the Upper School Library, guided by the goals of Saint David’s School, is to foster a life-long appreciation for learning and reading for pleasure, to support the curriculum needs of all the boys from fourth to eighth grade, to provide an environment conducive to learning, study and research, to help prepare the boys to navigate the ever growing world of electronic information, to develop critical thinking in their choice and use of information resources in all formats, and to support the faculty’s development of curriculum and teaching strategies.

 

 

 

Lower School Library Mission
The mission of the Lower School Library is to encourage a life-long love of reading for pleasure, to cultivate listening skills, to make connections in regard to self, text, and world, to introduce boys to a variety of genres of reading materials, to bridge reading between home and school, and to support the curriculum for each grade.
