Middle School Science Teacher

Saint David’s School seeks qualified candidates for the position of Middle School Science Teacher, effective September, 2012. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Teaching fifth and sixth grade science and sixth grade health

• Working collaboratively with colleagues and administrators to continue to develop, assess, and revise the school's science curriculum

• Attending chapel and giving chapel talks; attending lunch and special student activities such as class plays, concerts, etc.

Successful candidates will have a BA or MA in science; 2-5 years’ teaching experience; excellent oral and written communication with school constituencies; a preference for middle school and boys’ education; a commitment to character development; flexibility, good judgment, and humor.
