Saint David’s School seeks qualified candidates for the position of Middle School Science Teacher, effective September, 2012. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Teaching fifth and sixth grade science and sixth grade health
Working collaboratively with colleagues and administrators to continue to develop, assess, and revise the school's science curriculum
Attending chapel and giving chapel talks; attending lunch and special student activities such as class plays, concerts, etc.
Successful candidates will have a BA or MA in science; 2-5 years’ teaching experience; excellent oral and written communication with school constituencies; a preference for middle school and boys’ education; a commitment to character development; flexibility, good judgment, and humor.
